Brian Cunningham was born and raised in Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama where he was a starting place kicker for the football team. Brian led the team in scoring in 1997 and was elected team captain for the Tennessee game. As passionate as Brian is about Alabama Football, his true passion is knowing God and sharing Him with others. After Alabama, he enrolled in the MA Apologetics program at Biola University and finished in 2011. Currently, Brian is enrolled in the PhD program for Theology and Apologetics at Liberty University. He is married to Vicki Cunningham from Stornoway, Scotland. They have two boys together, Jacob and Oliver.
Jack is co-founder of Apologia Institute and holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Memphis and a M.Min. from Freed-Hardeman University. He serves as the minister for the Central church of Christ in Salisbury, NC. He is a lover of books and The Beatles. He and his wife Lindsey live in Kannapolis, NC.
He has an Associate of Arts in Psychology, Fullerton College; studied Philosophy and Psychology at California State University, Fullerton; Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Certificate in Moral and Social Philosophy, Fort Hays State University and a Bachelor of Theology, Bear Valley Bible Institute. He is a member of the Society of Christian Philosophers and the Evangelical Philosophical Society.
His areas of interest are in Metaphysics (Ontology), Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Religion, Systematic and Philosophical Theology and New Testament Theology. He teaches Apologetics and Systematic Theology at State College Blvd. Church of Christ in Anaheim, CA where he worships.
Dean Meadows is a Co-Founder, blogger, and Speaker for Apologia Institute. Dean served six years in the United States Marine Corps and did one tour of duty in Iraq. Currently, he serves as the minister at the Gastonia church of Christ in Gastonia, North Carolina. Dean received a B.A. in Theology from the Bear Valley Bible Institute International and a B.A. in Bible and Ministry from Amridge University. Dean is enrolled at Biola University seeking a M.A. in Apologetics. He is married to Hillary Meadows and they have one daughter Nora Grace. Dean’s hobbies include playing golf, Xbox One, and doing anything competitive.
Nathan Liddell was born and raised in the South—Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee—but now calls Aurora, Colorado home. He is an enthusiastic fly-fisherman, reader of Hemingway, C.S. Lewis, and Chaim Potok, student of languages—German especially, Premier League Soccer fan, and apologist. He holds a Bachelors of Biblical Studies from the Memphis School of Preaching and will soon be completing a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses in German and Philosophy from the University of Memphis. His areas of particular interest are Philosophy of Religion, Meta-ethics, and Physicalism and Philosophy of Mind. Nathan has been preaching for 18 years and has served as the pulpit minister with the East Alameda church of Christ for the last eleven years. His life is blessed by his sweet wife Mandy, his wonderful daughter Mia, and their cats and dogs.
Dewayne Bryant is a Tennessee native living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He is one of the ministers at the New York Avenue Church of Christ. He blogs for the Apologia Institute and writes for Apologetics Press and for the Associates for Biblical Research. He has a PhD in Biblical Studies with a concentration in Old Testament (Amridge University). He also has MA degrees in Biblical Studies (Reformed Theological Seminary) and Bible (Lipscomb University) along with additional study in Biblical and Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology and Languages (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School). He is an active member of the Archaeological Institute of America, the American Schools of Oriental Research, the Society of Biblical Literature, the Evangelical Theological Society, and the International Society of Christian Apologetics. He and his wife Christa have five daughters.
