WE BELIEVE that there is one God, who is eternal and self-existent, who created all matter, time, and space, who providentially sustains the universe by his powerful will, and who manifests himself co-eternally in three distinct persons: father, son, and holy spirit.
WE BELIEVE that the Bible, which consists of the Old Testament and New Testament scriptures, is the supernaturally revealed and inspired Word of God. It contains within it the full weight of authority of God himself for the faith and practices of Christian doctrine. “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16.
WE BELIEVE that man is made in the image and likeness of God, and that man have a rational, emotional, and spiritual component, with beliefs, desires and free will. Thus, man is comprised of a duality of body and soul.
WE BELIEVE that human beings are mired in rebellion and sin, thus being separated from God. “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God. And your sins have hidden His face from you” Isaiah 59:2.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus was supernaturally, by the power of the Holy Spirit, conceived by a virgin named Mary. Jesus, who was God and existed for eternity as the second person of the God head, became incarnate and revealed himself in the historical person of Jesus of Nazareth. “In The Beginning was the Word and the word Was with God and the word was God…the word became flesh and dwelt among us.” John 1:1; 14.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus’ birth, ministry, healings, teachings, crucifixion, and resurrection was predicted in the Old Testament. “All things must be fulfilled which was written in the law of Moses and the Prophets, and the Psalms Concerning Me.” Luke 24:44.
WE BELIEVE That Jesus our Messiah, as prophesized in the Old Testament Scriptures, died, was buried, and was resurrected for the deliverance and salvation of sins for all of humanity. “Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.” Acts 10:43
WE BELIEVE that through the historical death of Jesus on the cross, he gave himself as a ransom on behalf of humankind for the atonement of our sins, and brought the hope of reconciliation to God. “ In Jesus we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins. In accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” Ephesians 1:7.
WE BELIEVE that in order to obtain God’s salvation realized in the death of Christ, one must:
-Believe in the saving message found in the gospel of Jesus the Messiah.
-Make a conscious decision to Repent of one’s sinful lifestyle looking forward to obeying God and his Word.
-Acknowledging that one accepts Jesus to be Lord of their life, by confessing the decision to obey God and be immersed (baptized) washing away past sins, into the death of Christ (Romans 6:3.4) where all the benefits of Christ salvation are found. As a result, one is reconciled to God, being added to the spiritual body of Christ where all the saved are to enjoy salvation in heaven with him.
WE BELIEVE that the church, which God’s son purchased with his blood, is made up of all those saved in Christ on earth who meet locally around the world to worship God and grow spiritually in his mercy, grace and truth.
We are a committed group of Christian apologists set out to equip Christians to defend the coherence of a biblical worldview and engage culture with reasonable arguments for the reality of God and the gospel of His son Jesus Christ.
